Generate Electron Icons — Free App Icon Generator
Electron installers need platform icons: .icns on macOS, .ico on Windows, and PNG for Linux. Enable the Desktop pack in the generator (or full Launch Kit) to export them.

};FAQ
- Which PNG sizes?
- Include at least 16 through 1024. The Launch Kit Desktop pack ships that range.
- Linux?
- Most builders accept a 512 or 1024 PNG; ship desktop/png sources from the export.
- Should iOS icons have rounded corners?
- No. Export a full-bleed opaque square. iOS applies the mask. Pre-rounding causes double-rounded artifacts and App Store rejection risk.
- What is an Android adaptive icon?
- Two layers — foreground and background — that the launcher composites and masks (circle, squircle, etc.). Keep the logo in the central ~66% of the foreground.
- Can I export an Xcode asset catalog?
- Yes. The iOS pack includes AppIcon-*.png files plus Contents.json for AppIcon.appiconset.
- Does this replace Figma for icons?
- It ships production sizes and configs from one master. Design exploration still belongs in your design tool; this closes the handoff to Xcode and Gradle.
