How it works

  1. 1

    Generate iOS + Android packs

    Download the Launch Kit ZIP.

  2. 2

    Replace native resources

Keep filenames expected by your templates.

  3. 3

    Rebuild

Clean build so Xcode/Gradle pick up new icons.

Where to copy

ios/<App>/Images.xcassets/AppIcon.appiconset/ ← Contents.json + PNGs
android/app/src/main/res/mipmap-*/ ← ic_launcher.png densities
android/app/src/main/res/mipmap-anydpi-v26/ ← adaptive XML (from ZIP)

FAQ

Expo vs CLI?
If you use Expo, prefer the Expo app icon page. This page targets bare RN native folders.
Adaptive icons on older Android?
Legacy mipmaps cover API levels without adaptive icons; keep both in the pack.
Should iOS icons have rounded corners?
No. Export a full-bleed opaque square. iOS applies the mask. Pre-rounding causes double-rounded artifacts and App Store rejection risk.
What is an Android adaptive icon?
Two layers — foreground and background — that the launcher composites and masks (circle, squircle, etc.). Keep the logo in the central ~66% of the foreground.
Can I export an Xcode asset catalog?
Yes. The iOS pack includes AppIcon-*.png files plus Contents.json for AppIcon.appiconset.
Does this replace Figma for icons?
It ships production sizes and configs from one master. Design exploration still belongs in your design tool; this closes the handoff to Xcode and Gradle.
