- Dark mode splash?
- Set color_dark and image_dark in the YAML. Export a second pack with inverted colors if needed.
- Android 12 requirements?
- Provide android_12.color and optionally image. Keep the logo inside the system splash icon bounds.
- Do I need a unique splash PNG per device?
- Native toolkits often scale one image. This generator still ships common viewports for web/PWA and a master splash.png for Expo. Prefer one logo + solid backgroundColor when the framework allows.
- How does Expo splash work?
- Point expo.splash.image at splash.png and set splash.backgroundColor to your brand fill. Enable the Expo pack in the full Launch Kit for a ready app.json.
- Can I add a tagline on the splash?
- Yes. Optional tagline text is composited under the logo. Keep it short — launch screens disappear quickly.
- Light and dark splash?
- Export once with your primary background, then duplicate the pack with an inverted background for dark mode if your framework supports separate images.
